LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Training is an interactive experience where people can learn about the LGBTQ+ Community and how to be a better ally. We use a conversational and storytelling approach to teaching and learning. The training can be with any size audience. There’s no group too big or too small.

Training Breakdown:

Part 1 (approximately 90 minutes)

Terminology. We talk about the LGBTQ+ acronym and what it means, along with other helpful language.

Pronouns. Normalizing, making mistakes, and practice.

Allyship. How to be a better ally both inside and outside the LGBTQ+ Community.

Part 2 (approximately 90 minutes)

Intersectionality. The interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender as they apply the LGBTQ+

Gender. What is it? How and why do we see gender the way we do? We’ll discuss gender roles, social norms, and how they were developed.

Allyship. How to be a better ally both within and without the LGBTQ+ Community

Inclusivity. Inclusive practices and what those look like:

-in the classroom.

-in the workplace.

-in healthcare.
